Skelton YC

6th May 2015 at Skelton Youth Club

Today a man called John visited us from Doorways in Saltburn and spoke to us about a project that is launching. This project was about the younger generation and about how we can promote our ideas using this project, moreover this project involves photography, the environment, fitness, TV / films and any other promotable ideas that may be good for the project “ HaVa Word !) ”. In my opinion this is a great idea because the younger generation have the chance to show their talents and do what they want to do but never really actually thought about.

Soon after Johns visit we had an unexpected visit from a stray whippet who had lost its owner, as cute as it was to keep, the youth club put a note on Facebook hoping to trace his owner to claim their puppy. Soon after, the centre received a message about a man who had lost his dog, after he arrived he took a glance at the pup and told us it was not his, leaving the search to find the whippets owner to continue, fortunately we received another message from a couple saying their dog had ran off and thankfully these people were the rightful owners, leaving a good deed done and the whippet placed back in its owners hands, furthermore we were glad that the whippet found its owner because the last thing we wanted to do was call the dog warden to come and collect the lost dog, thankfully this wasn't the case :)
